Weather continued to be lovely as we set off for our next stop – Golspie Burn Waterfall and Gorge. We decided on the shorter walk by driving further on to the Backies Car Park and setting off from there. Last few hours of journey driven by Ros. Some very scenic views, twisty roads and impatient drivers. Spending our first night in Fort William in a little B+B for a good night’s rest after an 11 hour journey.

Crossed the border into Scotland at about 15:10 and we were very excited about it.

Music and the usual inappropriate conversations. Some beautiful views of the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales.
